GO Wellington provides bus services throughout the Wellington City area. Some 55,000 Wellingtonians ride with GO Wellington on a daily basis. GO Wellington has a fleet of 223 buses, including Wellington's iconic trolley buses. There are approximately 387 GO Wellington bus drivers and staff. GO Wellington was bought by Wellington-based company, Infratil, in late 2005.

GO Wellington is part of the NZ Bus family of services, which includes Valley Flyer in Wellington, North Star, GO WEST, Metrolink and Waka Pacific in Auckland and Adams in Whangarei.

Valley Flyer is the Hutt Valley's bus service which connects Upper Hutt, Wainuiomata, Eastbourne, Stokes Valley and Wellington.

The Airport Flyer is an express bus service that runs from Upper Hutt, through Queensgate in Lower Hutt to the centre of Wellington and then to Wellington International Airport and back.
