On Friday 20 June bus services on Go Wellington routes will be disrupted between the hours of 1pm and 4pm.
“These disruptions are due to Go Wellington drivers attending the funeral arrangements of Phil Griffiths the long serving Secretary of the Wellington Branch of the New Zealand Tramways and Public Passenger Transport Authorities Employees’ Industrial Union of Workers” says Zane Fulljames, General Manager Southern Region.
“We are in the process of making contact with the union to request their assistance in minimising the disruption to our customers”, says Mr. Fulljames.
- Normal full service on all Go Wellington Routes will operate up until 1pm.
- Services will be disrupted between the hours of 1pm to 4pm.
- We anticipate that normal service will resume from 4 pm.
“We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause our customers”, says Mr. Fulljames. “
Valley Flyer, Runcimans and Wellington’s train and Cable Car services are uninterrupted and continue to operate.
