GO Wellington has been participating in negotiations to enter into a Collective Employment Agreement (CEA) with the Tramways and M&C unions. Last week, the company and the unions reached an agreement on a proposal which was ratified by their members at a stop work meeting today.
“We are pleased to have reached an agreement which meets the needs of both our people and our customers,” says Zane Fulljames, General Manager Southern Region, NZ Bus.
“We thank the people of Wellington for their patience throughout what I know has been a unsettled time,” Mr Fulljames concludes.
“This agreement allows us the stability and certainty to move forward with confidence as we work to become the way people in our community choose to travel.”
